Delhi University begins admissions for PG, M.Phil, and Ph.D courses

On July 26, 2021, Delhi University began its registration for admission to PG, Ph.D and M.Phil courses. Interested candidates can apply for the above courses by visiting the official website of the university. The admission process will be online as last year. Students can apply till the last date of registration which is August 21, 2021.

Due to the outbreak of coronavirus pandemic, the authorities have decided to retain the eligibility criteria as that of last year, for the benefit of students. According to the authorities, the website received more than 4500 visitors in just 15 minutes of beginning the process. The university has made the website mobile friendly. Therefore, you will be able to check all the information related to admission process on your mobile itself.

The university offers around 20,000 seats for PG courses and the admission will be based on entrance exam conducted by the university. If you are interested in applying for PG courses, you will have to fill just one form. However, you will have to pay the fees according to the number of courses you are applying for. As for M.Phil and Ph.D courses, you can apply through a common form.

Here are the steps on how to apply for PG admission 2021

– Visit the official website of Delhi University i.e. du.ac.in

– On the homepage, look for the link to DU PG admission 2021 and click on it.

– Log in to start the application process.

– Fill in all the required details and upload the documents ( 10th, 12th marksheets, signature, photographs etc.)

– Pay the application fee and re-check all the details before submitting it.

– Submit and take a copy of the form for future reference.

All the information is available on DU admission portal, including the names of colleges and their respective admission fee. A computer based chat box and email is available 24*7 for answering your queries related to admission. A dedicated team of nodal officers and help desks of every college and departments will also be answering the queries.

You must note that all the entrance tests will be conducted by NTA through computer mode. The university has been planning to its centres for DUET, this year. There were around 20 exam centres last year, which have now been increased to 27 this year. Therefore, you need to keep yourself updated regularly by checking the official website.
