Siddhant Chaturvedi made his big debut in Bollywood back in 2019 with India’s official Oscar entry- the movie Gully Boy.
While 27 year old made his debut late as compared to other actors, he quickly won the hearts of many for his acting and of thousands of girls for his looks. Siddhant was also a part of the Amazon Prime Video Original Series- Inside edge, in which he played the role of a teenage cricketer.
His role in Gully boy was of M.C Sher and the excellent portrayal of it got him the Filmfare Award for the Best Supporting Actor.
Early life
Chaturvedi was born and brought up in Balia, Uttar Pradesh. He was born on 29 April 1993. He moved to Mumbai at the tender age of 5.
Siddhant Chaturvedi’s father is a Chartered Accountant- profession that Siddhant initially wanted to pursue. While he did acting as a hobby, it quickly became his passion.
Career
Siddhant Chaturvedi took some time off of his studies and participated in the Times of India Fresh Face Contest. He was declared the winner of the contest in 2013.
He debuted his acting skills on the 2016 show called Life Sahi hai, wherein he acted as a young, youthful and energetic young adult.
In 2016, he played the role of a teenage cricketer in Inside edge which was inspired by the Multi-billion franchise-IPL.
In 2019 he played the character of a street rapper- M.C Sher in Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy. He won the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor as well as a nomination for Best Male Debut. His acting was critically acclaimed and met with applause and appreciation. He has quickly come to adorn magazine covers and newspapers while becoming the face of many a brands.
Bollywood has warmed up to the bubbly actor who is determined and hardworking. Siddhant Chaturvedi is set to be a part of a number of Bollywood projects- most of which have been delayed by the pandemic.

Siddhant lent his voice for the Hindi version of the Men In Black-International (2019). His upcoming projects include Bunty and Bubly:2 casting him, Sharvi Wagh, Said Ali Khan and Rani Mukherjee.
He will also be a part of the upcoming project of Shakun Batra which currently remains unnamed. Herein he will be working with Deepika Padukone and Ananya Pandey.
Lastly he is set to be casted in Phone Boot(2021)- an Excel Entertainment’s Production. Phone boot will also be casting Katrina Kaif and Ishan Khattar.
